Your numbers

Answer each Yes/No question, then fill in the amounts that appear. Use 0 only when an amount is truly zero. Want to see how it works first? Load example numbers below.

Does each sale have about the same price and cost?

If you sell very different things at very different prices, use an average or a more detailed plan. Leave out sales tax.

We show the answer in your own words: how many products, hours or jobs you need to sell.
Costs that stay the same no matter how much you sell, like rent, software, insurance and salaries. For example, 5,000.
Your price for one product, one hour or one job, before sales tax. For a mix, use your average sale. For example, 150.
Costs that come with each sale, like materials, card fees, commissions or contractor pay. For example, 50. For hours of work, often just your own supplies.
Do you also have a monthly profit goal?

Shows the sales you need to cover costs and keep this much profit, before income tax.
