Debt payoff plan

Your payoff order, debt-free date and total interest with snowball versus avalanche, side by side. No account needed.

Your numbers

Answer each Yes/No question, then fill in the amounts that appear. Use 0 only when an amount is truly zero. Want to see how it works first? Load example numbers below.

Will you stop adding new charges to these debts?

This works only if each rate stays the same, you add no new charges and you pay the same total every month. Include credit cards and loans, but not your mortgage.

The current balance on the statement. For example, 2,500.
The APR on the statement. For example, 12. Enter 0 if it charges no interest.
The smallest payment the lender asks for. For example, 75.
Do you have a second debt to include?
Do you have a third debt to include?
Do you have a fourth debt to include?
Can you pay more than the minimums each month?

Even a little extra speeds things up. Answer No to see the plan with minimum payments only. Either way, when a debt is paid off, its payment moves to the next one.
